Mitsui Bussan Commodities Ltd. was established in 1991 as an LME Category II member. Our initial primary responsibility was as the futures hedging arm for our parent company and guarantor Mitsui & Co. Ltd. which retains a 80% shareholding, with the remaining 20% owned by Mitsui & Co. UK Plc.
Since then we have evolved to be a fully integrated market maker and broker of LME related risk management products and strategies for our own global customer base.
Operating on a seamless 24-hour basis from our offices in London, New York and Sydney, we offer our customers a full service in forwards and options, from offset hedging to derivative structures.
In addition our wealth of experience, drawn from working with all aspects of industry, means we can help identify and provide solutions for unwanted risk.
